This class prepares the expectant parents for the care, safety, growth, and development of their new baby. This class will prepare you for the realities of becoming a parent, with a special emphasis on coping during the first three months of your baby's life. It is recommended to attend this class after your seventh month of pregnancy and before the birth of the child.
Includes the following but not limited to newborn appearance, diapering, swaddling, bathing, safe sleep, car seat safety etc.
At this time, registration is limited to 5 mothers with up to one accompanying partner each. Please note, only one registration per couple is required for this course. No children are permitted to attend this class.
As a reminder, some of the information shared in this class is specific to those who are delivering at Mountainside Medical Center. If you are delivering at another hospital, and prefer to take one of their courses, you may find classes offered by the hospital where you are delivering at events.hackensackmeridianhealth.org/maternity.
